Aim and Scope
The Medical Journal of Public Health (MJPH) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal committed to advancing knowledge and practice in public health. The journal publishes high-quality research that addresses a wide range of public health challenges at global, national, and community levels.
MJPH aims to promote evidence that informs policy, strengthens health systems, and improves population health outcomes. The journal prioritizes methodologically rigorous studies that provide actionable insights for public health practice, program implementation, and decision-making.
The journal welcomes original research, systematic reviews, and analytical studies across diverse areas of public health, including health systems and policy, infectious and non-communicable diseases, mental health, environmental health, nutrition, maternal and child health, and digital health.
Particular emphasis is placed on research addressing the social determinants of health, health equity, and interventions that contribute to reducing disparities and improving access to care.
MJPH encourages interdisciplinary research integrating epidemiological, clinical, environmental, and social science perspectives, with a focus on translating evidence into effective and sustainable public health solutions.
