Article Processing Charges

Medical Journal of Public Health (MJPH) takes an Article Processing Charge (APC) model to back up the publication and open-access publication of accepted papers. Being an open access journal, MJPH does not restrict any articles it publishes to any subscription payment by any reader in any part of the world. The APC assists in meeting the necessary editorial and production services that need to be met in order to meet the standard quality of publication.

APC Details

  • Amount: 500 USD
  • Charged Only after Acceptance: APC is charged to the authors only after the peer-reviewed manuscript is accepted.
  • No Submission or Review Fees: There are no fees incurred in the submission or peer-review.

What the APC Covers

  • Editorial management and coordination in peer reviews.\
  • Copyediting, formatting and proofreading.
  • Maintenance of journals, and hosting online.
  • Indexing and DOI assignment.
  • Digital archiving and preservation on a long-term basis.

Important Notes for Authors

  • Rates of APC do not affect editorial choices. The quality and relevance of the research is the only basis of acceptance.
  • Authors can verify their institutions or funding bodies on APC support.
  • Open access publishing enhances visibility, reach and impact of research work.

With this open APC policy, MJPH is able to offer professional publishing services and at the same time make public health research available to a global audience.
